About Me

With over 20 years of broadcasting experience for the BBC and also the BBC website, I have also travelled at home and abroad to film and edit for the BBC.

Since starting my company in 2012, I have made videos for local clients as well as filming and editing all over the UK, throughout Europe, The USA, and Saudi Arabia, for international organisations. All this has come from repeat business from clients and recommendations.

Skills and Experience

As well as making corporate videos for clients I specialise in the filming and editing of conferences and I am hired to do this all over Europe and the UK.

I have filmed football at Premier League and Champions League matches at Anfield, Old Trafford, and Wembley Stadium as well as lower leagues providing live camera pictures and recordings to be edited including at the FA Cup Final. I have also filmed and edited at Cricket matches.

I pride myself on keeping my clients happy not just on quality but on price too. I do not advertise or do any marketing as my clients keep coming back, and recommend me to other companies.

I can Film, Direct, Produce and Edit myself, so I have no requirement to hire anyone in to do this work unlike other companies. If a project does require more people, I have a network of highly skilled colleagues to work alongside me.

I also film and present at Media Training Courses, these have included for the Rugby World Cup, British Olympic and Paralympic teams, the NHS, the Football Association, the League Managers Association and many smaller organisations.

BBC Experience

For the BBC, I worked on location on the 2012 London Olympics, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, and on major stories such as editing for Princess Diana’s funeral and also her obit on the day she died with John Simpson, and 9/11 (editing the lead story for Newsnight) on the day the planes flew into the twin towers.

I was part of the Newsnight team that same year which won the RTS News programme of the year award. I was a Video Editor for The Money Programme, and also for Public Eye, a Social Affairs programme. As well as editing for Newsround, I also edited a series of Newsround Extras.

I travelled to Russia, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Ireland and all over the UK to film and edit for the BBC. As well as the above events, I filmed at the Queen Mother’s 100th birthday for Newsround, and I have also filmed and edited stories for the BBC website on subjects as diverse as the 75th anniversary of Monopoly with Declan Curry, the testing of Space Vehicles and equipment for travel to Mars in Spain, the manufacture of large denomination Euro notes in Switzerland, the Goodwood Revival for Classic Cars, the E type Jaguar, filmed in a Ferrari around the Silverstone Circuit, London Fashion week, many exhibitions and the artificial insemination of a Rhinoceros.

Interests

As well as loving my work, I do enjoy football (I’m a keen Swansea City fan and go to cheer them on when crowds are allowed) and other sports. Also, I’ve always enjoyed my cars and have been lucky enough to drive a McLaren and a Ferrari around a race track as well as owning some fabulous vehicles myself and I’ve been a member of a few Car Clubs over the years.

I’m a fluent Welsh speaker, having had a bilingual education and I lived in Wales until I was almost 23. My support of Swansea City has helped me keep my Welsh language skills thanks to my friends over the Severn Bridge.

I completed the last Swansea 10K fun run in 2019 and whilst not breaking any World Records, I did finish in the top half of times despite running with a calf injury.
